The Last Beginning

In a realm where god has bestowed humans magical powers, that gift came with a challenge: to pass his trials and reach heaven, a realm where any wish or desire can be granted.

But Jay is content living through his ordinary life, fulfilling his desires through his lucid dreams where he can create worlds and control reality at his fingertips. But lately, even his dreams have started to feel hollow. It was as if something was missing from his life.

Then, despite all odds, that something happened to find him. One of his lucid dreams is interrupted by a vision of his walk home from work where he spots a girl bleeding out in an alleyway. As he frantically rushes to her side, her pleas of desperation weren't enough to stop her assailant from stabbing Jay in the back. As everything fades to black, Jay wakes up shaking, his mind numb from the phantom pain of his death. He tries to play it off as just a dream... but unfortunately, fate has already set its sights on him.
